About FIATA
The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) based in Zurich, Switzerland is the world umbrella body of the freight forwarding industry. FIATA’s commitment to excellence in freight forwarding education is embodied in its Advisory Body Vocational Training (ABVT), where it plays a pivotal role as a global knowledge leader in the field of freight forwarding and logistics management. As part of its efforts, the ABVT established a comprehensive set of standards for awarding the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding — is an internationally recognised qualification covering the cornerstones of the Freight Forwarding and international Supply Chain industry. Since its launch in 1996, the FIATA Diploma has gained international recognition as a mark of professional competence across all areas of freight forwarding operations. It is now regarded as a benchmark qualification by industry stakeholders around the world.
FIATA Association Members deliver the courses leading to the FIATA Diplomas. JLA is the only accredited member in Jordan to deliver the certified training leading to the Diploma in Freight Forwarding, and one of few accredited members in the Arab Region.

Diploma Program Overview
The FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding, offered by the Jordanian Logistics Association (JLA), provides logistics professionals with comprehensive training in international freight forwarding practices. Developed in alignment with international standards set by FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations), this diploma equips learners with the knowledge and competencies required to manage, coordinate, and execute complex logistics operations across air, land, and sea transport.
The Jordanian Logistics Association (JLA) is the FIATA Association Member in Jordan accredited to conduct a validated training program leading to the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding. Through this Diploma program, JLA and the National Sector Skills Council for Logistics (Logiskills) aim to bridge the skills gap in the logistics sector in Jordan and the region, better aligning labor market demands with workforce skills. This initiative supports the logistics sector in Jordan that is expanding rapidly; generating employment opportunities and supporting the country’s economic development.

Learning Objectives
This internationally recognized Diploma in Freight Forwarding aims to equip aspiring and current professionals with the critical knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive in the global transport and logistics industry. Aligned with FIATA standards and structured around comprehensive module topics, the program will enable participants to:

Certification
Graduates will receive diplomas signed by the FIATA President and FIATA Director General, with details including the title, diploma number, name of the graduate, and date and place of issuance.
Duration, Location and Delivery Mode
The curriculum is delivered over a 28-weeks face-to-face learning phase in Amman, Jordan at a certified training venue. The Diploma’s program will be articulated around the following topics and core modules:

Who Should Enroll
The Diploma is intended for:

Essential requirements for admission are:
- To hold a secondary education certificate or its equivalent.
- To be competent in the English language.
Selection Criteria
The Selection Committee reserves the right to interview candidates to validate the coherence of their professional background, qualifications, and motivation for pursuing the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding, ensuring that their profile aligns with the program's Selection Criteria.
To be eligible for the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding Program, applicants must have a high school certificate (minimum), with preference given to those holding diplomas or degrees in logistics, supply chain, business, or related fields. A minimum of six months of relevant work experience is preferred, though motivated fresh graduates are welcome. All applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency through recognized qualifications or a placement test. Full availability during the program period is required. Applications from women, persons with disabilities, individuals from underrepresented regions, and youth (18–24 years old) are strongly encouraged.
